Solar Eclipse occur when Sun gets partially or fully covered by Moon. For this kind of Eclipse formation, it is required by Moon to come in between of Earth and Sun. That is why people living on earth do not see the Sun properly.

Precautions to take during Surya Grahan ( Solar eclipse ) :

Do not perform any important activities during Surya Grahan ( Solar eclipse ) as this period is considered as very unlucky.

Avoid food during this eclipse ( Grahan ) period unless you are not fit medically.

Do not perform sexual activities during the eclipse period as this is considered as a bad time for this activity.
